Spirit Club Activities - We will have fun activities for the faculty, staff, and students to participate in throughout the week. 

 

Monday, September 27th - Activity Schedule - Door Decorating -   Please use the activity period to decorate your doors for homecoming. Our homecoming theme this year is "Destroy the Demons". All doors will be judged on Thursday, September 30th. Prizes will be awarded to the top three doors. The winners will be announced on Friday afternoon. Paper is available in the hallway of the business/foreign language department. 


Tuesday, September 28th - Special Olympics Spartan Send-off

  On Tuesday, September 28th, we will be having a small scale Spartan Send-off for our Special Olympic athletes. Due to construction, only our Spirit Club, Be a Buddy Club, Pep Band, and Cheerleaders will be participating. We will begin organizing the sendoff at 8:30 in the cafeteria. The sendoff is planned for 9:00 in front of the school.


Wednesday, September 29th - Powder Puff Game at Spartan Field from 7:30 - 9:00 - Gates open at 6:30. Come out and watch the junior and senior girls play for class supremacy. Admission is three dollars per person. All proceeds will benefit the DECA Club's Christmas Cheer program. 

 

Friday, October 1st - Fourth Annual Spartan Spirit Color War – Represent your class by wearing your class color. Seniors – Maroon, Juniors – Black, Sophomores – Silver/Gray, Freshmen – White

 

Friday, October 1st - Homecoming Parade - 5:00-6:00 on Main Street in Salem, line up at 5:00, parade at 5:30

 

Friday, October 1st - Football Game - Salem vs. Christiansburg - 7:00 - Salem Stadium

 

Saturday, October 2nd - Homecoming Dance - 8:00-11:00 at Red Sox Stadium

 

We want to make our 2021 Homecoming Week one of our best yet. Please participate in as many of our activities as possible. Our students tend to follow your lead.
